4th Good Practice Forum

The next edition of the Good Practice Forum is upon us. Each time, participation in this event brings us a huge dose of inspiration and enables us to take part in fascinating discussions that often change our approach to everyday work. It is also a great opportunity to exchange experiences with other participants and industry professionals.

PROLIB on 4th Good Practice Forum

During the Forum, Sygnity Business Solutions and the PROLIB team will be represented by Marta Bednarek. The speech will be entitled ‘Librarian, let us help you! Or how the PROLIB library system helps to activate readers’.

This year’s edition of the Good Practice Forum, which is now in its fourth year, will be held under the motto: ‘Beyond the Event Horizon: Libraries at the intersection of artificial intelligence, digitisation and readers‘ needs’. It is a theme that fully addresses the challenges of modern libraries.

The forum will be divided into two parts.

The topic of the first panel will be ‘Artificial Intelligence – competition or support’, discussing issues such as the impact of AI on libraries, from collection management to user interaction, practical applications and ethical aspects of using artificial intelligence, among others.

The second panel, ‘User needs’, will focus on the growing expectations of users, information education and the accessibility of services. The role of libraries as social spaces and the changing role of librarians will also be addressed.

Sygnity Business Solutions S.A. is one of the sponsors of this event.

The organiser of the 4th Good Practice Forum is Wrocław University of Economics.
