Lubusz Laurels 2025 awarded

Lubuskie Laurels is an annual event that reminds us how strongly literature, science and journalism shape the identity of our region.
During the gala at the C. Norwid Provincial and Municipal Public Library, the Lubuskie Wawrzyny 2025 awards were presented to artists whose work has a real impact on the intellectual and cultural life of the Lubuskie Province.

Lubuskie Laurel Literary Award
In the ‘Poetry’ category, the award went to Sławomir Gowin for his volume Łódź Dantego (Dante’s Boat) (Pro Libris, Zielona Góra 2025).
In the ‘Prose’ category, the winner was Katarzyna Jarosz-Rabiej for her book Ulica pachnąca lipami (The Street Smelling of Linden Trees) (Organon, Zielona Góra 2025).

The Lubusz Scientific Laurel was awarded to Małgorzata Mikołajczak for her publication Tropy topografii. W kręgu literatury osadniczej i postosadniczej (Traces of Topography: In the Circle of Settlement and Post-Settlement Literature) (UNIVERSITAS, Kraków 2025).

The Lubusz Laurel of Journalism was awarded to Agata Źrałko for a series of socially engaging articles published on the Hello Zdrowie portal, addressing topics such as health, loneliness and the mental well-being of children and young people.
