Forum of Good Practices 2022

On September 19, 2022, the second edition of the Forum of Good Practices took place at the Main Library of the University of Economics in Wrocław. This year, the topic was electronic resources and the participation of libraries in open science. During the conference, participants listened to 13 speeches, which aroused considerable interest, as evidenced by two intensive discussion sessions.

Sygnity Business Solutions was represented by Marta Bednarek and Magdalena Kurpiel. Our presentation was related to the e-book rental. We wanted to present our experiences from the implementation of this solution in libraries using the PROLIB system. We discussed the needs of libraries in this area and the effects of using this solution in variousbtypes of libraries. The aim of the presentation was to present the libraries’ approach to the issue of borrowing e-books with the use of the PROLIB library system.
