Goal: Oracle Fusion system implementation in Orange Polska.

Project centrally implemented by Orange Group, local integrator: Sygnity Business Solutions. Previous experience of Sygnity Business Solutions: in 2003 – 2006 Sygnity Business Solutions was involved in the “New Convenrgence” project (implementation of the Oracle EBS v. 11 system) for Telekomunikacja Polska.

The main goal of Oracle Fusion implementation in Orange: standardization of processes

  • Orange: a mature company, a large number of systems and tools to support processes that have evolved with different technologies emerging in the market.
  • Concern: knowing that extensions could not be built in a SaaS environment created uncertainty in the first stages of the project.
  • The solution: a change in the approach to integration and information processing sites and the potential of reporting and analysis capabilities meant that the product was very quickly accepted by users and recipients of the system.

The Sygnity Business Solutions team was responsible for:

  • Execution of all design work, with particular attention to local specifics of Polish legislation.
  • Integration of Fusion with existing systems used in Orange as part of P2I (Purchase to Invest) processes.
  • Developing integration architecture, defining the scope of data flow in the areas of: purchasing, invoicing and capital expenditures, as well as identifying any open issues.
  • Develop reports, dashboards and analysis used as part of the daily operational work of the system end users. – Developing and conducting knowledge transfer workshops for the Orange team in the area of administration, building dedicated reports or selected elements of system configuration.
